Dr. Steve Thaxton is a graduate of Abilene Christian University
and Parker College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He also performed post-graduate studies in acupuncture, kinesiology, and rehabilitation, and is a Board Certified Acupuncturist, Rehabilitation Specialist, and Brimhall certified.

Dr. Thaxton began his career early "on the road" as the personal chiropractor and fitness consultant for the rock band "Guns-N-Roses" for their 2 1/2 year world tour. He has also been Jon Bon Jovi's personal chiropractor and fitness consultant for the past decade, include four world tours.
Dr. Thaxton is an athlete at heart, with several honors which include still holding the state pole vaulting title in W.V. and AAA first team All State football team selection. Qualifying for the the United States Olympic trials in both 1984 and 1988, he was the 1986 National Pole Vaulting Champion. He holds titles in mountain bike racing in WV as well as being nationally ranked 2nd place in 2004, and top ten finishes in 2005 and 2006 at the World Masters Mountain Biking Championships.
His current hobby is playing in the mud...no seriously...Dr. Thaxton has "turned the throttle" finding a lost love for racing, and is the reigning 2009 and 2010 GNCC National Champion.
